I just came across your web page, very good stuff...thought you might be interested in one of my Marches that I've done up as a Villeneuve tribute.  It's a '77, identical to his, this one was driven by Bob Nelkins in the pro series with Gilles.  I am just finishing restoring it with Villeneuve/Direct Film graphics.

I was racing F/A in '82 at Montreal when we all carried "Salut Gilles" decals on our cars for the race.  Oddly enough, I brought my car to that race (and countless others) in the back of a converted school bus. Sound familiar?

Thank you very much, Seann!  This is the Formula Atlantic car in which I first saw Gilles perform (spectacularly) at Mosport.  Watching Gilles drift this car sideways around corners was a revelation.  It opened my eyes to the fact that there is so much more to racing than simply driving fast.  It was seeing Gilles drive this car that turned me onto motorsports.
