In March, I went to "Circuit de Catalunya" to take part in a Formula
Renault course. I had a grateful surprise when I arrived to the
pitlane, there was a Ferrari convention with some really beautiful cars,
and next to the "escola elf renault" box there was an astonishing 80's
formula 1 car. Gilles Villeneuve's Ferrari.
It is now owned by a rich man called "Mr. Folch" (not so sure about
the name) from Barcelona. This man has kept it in a perfect condition
(as you can see), and he was driving it about 10 laps in the circuit.
I was born in 1980 so i could not enjoy the 80's formula 1 era, but
for what i saw, the sound of the engine was amazing, much better than
the formula 1 cars of now (too RPMs now). I really enjoyed it.
I just took 1 picture of it but i think it's pretty good. As
you can see the formula one is placed in the pitlane while about 20
ferrari's are waiting behind. When i saw your page i thought you
will enjoy the picture, so i scanned it and i send it to you.
I hope you like it,
Jaume Suñol,
Barcelona.
