Brain research suggests that we have a three-part brain and that the
limbic brain, which controls our emotional life, develops during early
childhood. In the workshop, participants learn what current brain
research says about how love and caring shape the developing brains of
young children. How can we help children thrive in school and in life?
What is magical about relationships based on love and caring that help
children now and forever? This workshop combines the latest findings of
brain research and sound classroom practices. We will explore
relationships, classroom rituals, myths and storytelling and honoring
our own stories.
