Sufis 

Sufis come in all shapes and sizes. Some are affiliated closely with mainstream hierarchical Moslem organizations, some not. Though all are derivative of Islam, some orders have decoupled from Islamic formalisms in their move to the West. Alan Godlas explores this in detail here. 
In their native (non-Western) milieux, some Sufis adhere strongly to local traditions, some not. Some groups are huge, encompassing large segments of whole countries, some not. Some operate openly, some must keep their activities secret from the populace at large. 
Their overall approach could be said to be on the devotional side of the spectrum, but methods are often used in aid of this. More will be coming. If any of them turns out to be the next Avatar or Messiah, please let me know (Feedback).
