Quasi-Christians

The teachers in this lot for the most part have been heavily influenced by Christianity, and cannot let it go. But it is marketable, especially in North America, so those who have this flavour should be able to find their people. To be sure, the millions of straight-ahead Christians who want only the "pure" stuff will not come, but there are surely enough dissatisfied with the formal hierarchical structures of the Church, either trad or evangelical, to keep these folks in business. That said, there are more than a few, i'm sure, who are very sincere and insightful and helpful to seekers. What they have done is gone outside the Christian paradigm and injected it with elements seekers will find more useful or relevant. Included are ACIM types, who fit very well in this group – they say that Jesus Himself dictated the material therein – as well as more overt Christians, Essene revivalists and more.
