The M16 series started in 1954 with the AR-10. And in
1956, by the military's request for a 5.56mm bore, the
AR-15 was born. In 1962 the AR15 saw it's first action
in the jungles of Vietnam. Through the years, the now
famous M-16 series has seen many transformations on
itself to suit the needs of the users. Whether they be
military, police or Special forces.
Tokyo Marui has modeled this well known rifle. Including the variable
hop-up system, for maximum range and hitting ratio.
Making the newely introduced M16A1 and M16VN
versions the invincible electric air guns for fans.

Tokyo Marui has copied this popular weapon in detail.
From the short-type muzzle flash suppressor, to the spring
loaded stock. This electric gun is fast becoming popular
among Adventure Gamists and Air gun fans. Tokyo Marui has also
succeeded in fitting the battery in the short-type
fore grip as well as designing a real feel slim handle
containing the EG700 High Torque motor. As well, many metal
parts have been used to provide a sturdy and well weighted
gun. When used with the specially designed 190 round
short-type magazine. You too, will come to realize what
many others have discovered, the superiority of the CAR-15.

In 1960 a new gun designed of aluminum and plastic was
introduced to the USAF. That gun was the AR-15, or as
the world knows it, the M-16. From the time of
introduction the new M-16 was to see action in the
Vietnam war. The problems encountered with the new weapon
were quickely delt with and modifications were made.
Giving us the M-16 Vietnam Version, Car-15 and the Xm177e2.
In Feburary 1967 the M16a1 was declared the official
rifle of the US army. By the 80's the M16 was remodified
to match the NATO 5.56 x 45mm round. In 1982 the M16a2 was
the product of the latest modifications requested by
Americas fighting men. After 30 years of battle tested
use it's no wonder why the M16 series is looked upon
as one of the world's strongest battle rifle.
Tokyo Marui has made the difficult to obtain M16a2 available.
Everything but the magazine has been completely newly designed
from the A1. This model surpasses all air guns on the
market in terms of realism making it high quality.
As well as the inside high torque EG-1000 motor fit
into the rifle grip, made popular by the AUG series,
one touch take down system is included. Enabling maintence
a breeze to preform. Upon pulling the charging handle
the ejection port opens, displaying the adjustable hop-up
system in all aspects this model making it such a high
quality item.
