The reason for this was yet another service outage at our Internet "Service" (sic.) Provider, GlobalServe and its merged partner, IPrimus. What happened this time is that any page with the prefix "www.globalserve.net" became inaccessible, although you could still get at these pages by (for example) typing in "www.iprimus.ca" instead of "www.globalserve.net".
Over the last year we have encountered numerous such failures and there appears to be no end in sight as IPrimus/GlobalServe seem to have been completely unable to maintain reliable server hosting. The treatment that we have received from GlobalServe and its merged partner, IPrimus, has been very poor (see the Shakhàn page for one example). We are now actively searching for a new ISP as we are fed up with the random disruptions of our Web hosting service that these two companies have caused us.
Unfortunately any change will take a substantial amount of time to implement, so if you attempt to access any resource we currently maintain at GlobalServe / IPrimus and get an error, please send us an e-mail or phone us for an update as to where our data can be found.
