On the following evening, May 21st, I set up the camera at around 8.15 p.m. There was a sailing regatta in progress, and many people were around and about, as it was a very pleasant evening. The sun was getting near to setting, and suddenly, I noticed two very bright, orangey-red lights on the water's surface, near to where I had seen the bright lights on the previous night. I focused the video camera on these lights which first appeared at 8:31pm. I let the camera roll for about 20 minutes, until the lights had "died down" somewhat. I assumed that what I was seeing was a reflection of the setting sun on some large, glass-windowed buildings. I videotaped further lights after dark, and then returned home. I showed my son this video tape around midnight, when he came home from work, and asked him what he thought the lights could be. He said that he thought they were reflections off some building in the sunset. The next morning, a friend looked at the video, and noticed, that, within the "lights" themselves, there appeared to be structures of some kind. These same lights appeared the following night at exactly the same time. On looking at the video the next day, it showed almost identical events.
On May 20th, I had set up the camera on the north shore, and videotaped an "ORB" travellling from east to west, at about 3 to 5 degrees of elevation. My attention was drawn to a couple of BRIGHT lights further west, in the Hamilton direction. But, on looking back at the video, I notice that I did not linger for more than a few seconds, before panning back to look at the ORB.
