We were on the South shore and setting up the camera for the evening watch for ORBS. At 20.58 hrs. a streak of light appeared travelling in a north-westerly direction, and in the area of the setting sun. The sky was reddish-yellowish gold, but this trail still showed up very brightly. There appeared to be a dark, V-shaped object at the front of the trail, but we were uncertain as to whether it was an aircraft. The trail remained the same length, and gave the impression of some sort of rolling or billowing, unlike the contrail of an aircraft. The underside and leading edge of the trail were a deep reddish-orange, and the centre of the trail was almost white. It was extremely difficult to keep track of the object with the camera, as it travelled very quickly across the sky. It changed its trajectory and started to go at a steeper angle. Suddenly it started to "snake" down towards the horizon, making an "S" shape as it went. Eventually, it came down to the horizon and disappeared. We saw similar events on the following two nights, 25th and 26th July. On the 25th, the object came UP from the horizon, and on the 26th it almost repeated the event of the 24th. I saw another similar event on September 16th. This time, I was driving back from north of where I live, and had nothing but binoculars in the car with me. I jumped out of the car as soon as I saw the trail in my rearview mirror. It was travelling in an easterly direction, and in the same area of the sunset as the July events. The September event was slightly different. Two bright balls of light were released from the "streak" and headed off in different directions! A truck driver who had parked next to me asked me what it was! Would that I knew!!!
