Home of the gorgeous Golden Retriever and the beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog.  We live on a farm in Southwestern Ontario with several ponds the dogs love to paddle in chasing frogs and fish. 

             The main priorities in our breeding program are temperament and health.  We believe intelligence is also very important.  With these building blocks a Gowan dog can grow into a wonderful family member.  Our puppies are handled and loved from the very first day.  They are a lifetime commitment to us and we love to keep in touch.

              A well-trained companion is a joy to have with you and is welcome most everywhere you like to go.  It is an owner's responsibility to ensure that your companion understands appropriate behaviour in any situation.
