HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Status: 12 month Contract, Full Time Hours
Location: Toronto (Etobicoke), ON
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Primus Canada has an exciting 12 month contract opportunity for a confident, results-driven professional to join the HR team in our Etobicoke office. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources the Human Resources Manager will manage projects/programs relating to compensation and benefits, health and safety, employment equity, HR systems, and retention.

In addition, this position is responsible for the overall co-ordination, administration and execution of all HR related activities and matters for a client group. Specific key areas of responsibility include; recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, employee relations, health and safety, and disability management.


We are looking for:
Minimum 3 years experience in Generalist role
Post-Secondary education with Post Graduate (Degree/Diploma) in Human Resources
CHRP designation
Ms Office proficient (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Knowledge of Human Resources Management Systems (OHR)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Exemplary communication and customer service skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation including Canada Labour Code, Human Rights, Employment Equity Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act
