When i returned from
the west to stay "forever" in Pune, i came in to see Osho for
"arrival darshan," where the following fencing match occurred:
I had understood that it was important to remember which of
Osho's therapy and other groups i had participated in, and also important not to
have preferences, so i was ready for his questions. He asked if i would like to do groups or work, and i said,
"Whatever you say," although really i just wanted to
work. To his enquiry about which groups i had done,
i rattled off my long list of about 12. I had not finished my recitation before everyone in
darshan started laughing, but i managed to get through them all.
But he got me, saying that since i could remember so well, i
must need to do a few more groups. I did enjoy them, though i took a few days to
warm up to Vipassana, then finally i did indeed
get to work, becoming a guard for almost two years.
